General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use

Effective Date: June 24, 2026

1. RATES AND SECURITY

Prices for our rooms and services are subject to change without notice and may vary depending on the time of year or the day of the week.

For security reasons and to prevent fraud, Hôtel le Rivage requires that the credit card used to make the online purchase or reservation, along with a valid government-issued photo ID, be presented by the cardholder upon check-in at arrival.

2. CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS, AND EXCHANGES

  • Cancellation Policy: If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled reservation time, the full amount of one night’s stay (plus applicable taxes) will be charged to the credit card on file.
  • Modifications: No modifications to dates or stay details will be accepted within 24 hours of the official reservation date.
  • Gift Cards: Gift cards purchased from Hôtel le Rivage are non-exchangeable, non-refundable, and have no cash value.

3. PROMOTIONAL OFFER: RELAXATION GETAWAY (SUITE & SPA LE FINLANDAIS)

This exclusive offer is subject to the following strict regulatory conditions:

  • Eligibility: This privilege offer applies exclusively to bookings made in the “Suites” category for overnight stays between Sunday and Thursday inclusive. Standard rooms or any other room categories are not eligible.
  • Validity Period: Massages qualifying for the discount must be performed during the actual stay period, specifically between the official check-in time and the official check-out time.
  • Reimbursement Procedure: As Spa Le Finlandais is an independent corporate entity entirely separate from Hôtel le Rivage, guests must pay for their treatments directly at the Spa. To receive the discount, guests must present the original, detailed invoice issued in their name by Spa Le Finlandais at the front desk of Hôtel le Rivage upon check-out. A discount equivalent to 10% of the pre-tax value of the eligible massage(s) will then be deducted from the hotel’s final accommodation invoice. No credits or refunds will be granted after the guest’s final departure and settlement of the account.
  • Limits and Quotas: The offer is strictly limited to a maximum number of massages equivalent to the number of legally registered guests in the suite, multiplied by the number of nights of the stay (e.g., a 2-night stay for 2 guests entitles them to a discount on a maximum of 4 massages in total during the stay). Massages exceeding this regulatory limit will be billed at the standard rate, with no discount applied to the hotel bill.
  • Combinability and Restrictions: This offer is non-transferable, has no cash value (cannot be exchanged for cash or generic hotel credit), and cannot be combined with any other active promotion, discount, or special rate at the hotel or spa.

4. SPECIAL HOTEL POLICIES

  • Check-in and Check-out Times: Standard check-in time is scheduled for 4:00 PM. Check-out time is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
  • Smoke-Free Environment: The entire establishment (rooms, suites, balconies, and common areas) is strictly non-smoking. Non-compliance will result in significant deep-cleaning fees.
  • Access to Spa Le Finlandais: If you plan to visit Spa Le Finlandais located directly across the street from our establishment, you must register at the hotel beforehand to retrieve your access passes or supporting documentation.
  • Information Security: All personal information we collect is kept in a highly secure environment. Our employees are contractually bound to respect the strict confidentiality of your data.

5. SPA LE FINLANDAIS GIFT CARDS

  • Payment at the Hotel: We do not accept Spa Le Finlandais gift cards as a direct payment method for accommodation charges or other services at Hôtel le Rivage.
  • Sales at the Hotel: You can purchase thermal experience access passes for Spa Le Finlandais in the form of gift cards, as well as generic Spa Le Finlandais gift cards, directly at the hotel front desk.
  • Spa Usage Conditions: The conditions for access, booking, and use of these gift cards must be verified directly with the administration of Spa Le Finlandais.

6. TEXT MESSAGING (SMS) PROGRAM

Hôtel le Rivage offers a text messaging program to enhance your customer experience and keep you informed in real time.

  • Program Description: By subscribing to our SMS service (by checking the consent box during your online booking or by completing a registration form), you agree to receive transactional or promotional text notifications from us. These messages include, but are not limited to: booking confirmations and reminders, check-in operational details, safety alerts, service updates, or exclusive special offers.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your interactions, active reservations, and promotional subscriptions.
  • Applicable Fees: Hôtel le Rivage does not charge for subscription to this service. However, standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to sending and receiving text messages.
  • Opt-Out (Unsubscribe): You can unsubscribe from our SMS program at any time. Simply reply STOP or ARRET to any text message sent by Hôtel le Rivage. Upon sending this keyword, you will receive an SMS confirming your opt-out, and we will cease sending you text messages, unless you choose to re-subscribe in the future.
  • Assistance (Help): If you experience any issues or need assistance, you can reply HELP or AIDE to our messages, or write to us directly at info@hotellerivage.com.
  • Privacy Policy: Your personal data related to our SMS program is handled with the utmost care. For more information on our data collection and protection practices, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. USE OF MATERIALS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Hôtel le Rivage maintains its websites for informational, booking, and communication purposes.

Trademarks, service marks, logos, brand identities, titles, characters, trade names, graphics, designs, copyrights, and other properties appearing on Hôtel le Rivage websites are the exclusive intellectual property of Hôtel le Rivage 2022 inc. and/or its affiliated companies.

These elements may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way. You may only download one copy onto a personal computer exclusively for your personal, private, and non-commercial use. To protect its assets, Hôtel le Rivage strictly prohibits any other use without its prior written consent. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as conferring any license or right under any of our intellectual property rights.

8. COPYRIGHT

You must assume that everything you see or read on Hôtel le Rivage websites is protected by copyright, unless otherwise explicitly noted. These contents may not be used outside of these terms and conditions without the prior written permission of Hôtel le Rivage. This applies specifically to images, photographs, videos, text, or illustrations displayed on our platforms.

Hôtel le Rivage does not warrant or represent that your use of the materials displayed on its websites will not infringe the rights of third parties not affiliated with our company.
